We like a bit of bowling and were offered a great opportunity to check out Strike Bowling at the EQ last school holidays. We were given a free pass so I guess this is a kind of a sponsored post but we really did have a ball (pun intended).
My Aunty introduced bowling to our family. She and I have taken the kids a few times now and it is a great family thing to do. We normally head to a different alley however so I was keen to check out EQ.
We shared the experience with school friends and started out downstairs at the laser tag which, aside from a rather graphic intro that was kinda scary even for grown ups, was a lot of fun. We went early in the day (good time for those with younger children) so there weren’t many of us zapping each other. The kids thought it was so exciting and keep asking to return.
We then headed upstairs for a bowl and ended up having lunch during our game which worked well. They serve a good pizza! another hit with my tribe. The staff were really attentive and friendly too – showing kids how to bowl.
Strike Bowling currently has a family deal on so this week we’re taking daddy for a bit of good old fashioned fun.
Fun option if you’re wondering what to do these chilly holidays.
