What is Eleanor Limprecht doing these school holidays?

Eleanor LimprechtThis is Author, Eleanor Limprecht signing my copy of her book What Was Left. I asked if I could interview her for Sydney Mum, and about what she was doing these school holidays.

“In the second week I’m going to the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival in Bali. I’m going to be on two panels. One is very apt because it’s about motherhood, called ‘A Perfect Mother’The other is about language. It’s called ‘Wide Awake Language’ and it’s with Eimear McBride, who won the Orange Prize this year, and an Icelandic author called ‘Sjón’.

They are both really good authors and so I’m feeling a little out of my depth”

Eleanor is a remarkable author who you’ll hear more about when she returns from the festival – and when I finish reading, What Was Left.
