Help this mum stamp out postnatal depression

I am in the process of completing my PhD, which is looking at the risk factors for postnatal depression. It is something that is really close to my heart, as I suffered from it following the birth of my son. I have chosen to go back to study so I can hopefully find out what makes women more vulnerable to it’s development so that we can start improving our intervention programs.

Around 1 in 7 women develop postnatal depression or anxiety, and these rates are just unacceptable.

Mac-Uni Help this mum stamp out postnatal depressionI am currently trying to find pregnant women to complete some questionnaires online and thought this might be a good place to put the word out to anyone who might be interested. There are also some great prizes to be won! You do not have to have a history of postnatal depression, you just need to be pregnant and have access to a computer.

The web address to complete the questionnaires is on the brochure or you can click on the following link: http://tinyurl.com/transitiontomotherhood

Thanks so much for your time!
