Help this mum stamp out postnatal depression

I am in the process of completing my PhD, which is looking at the risk factors for postnatal depression. It is something that is really close to my heart, as I suffered from it following the birth of my son. I have chosen to go back to study so I can hopefully find out what makes women more vulnerable to it’s development so that we can start improving our intervention programs.

Around 1 in 7 women develop postnatal depression or anxiety, and these rates are just unacceptable.

Mac UniI am currently trying to find pregnant women to complete some questionnaires online and thought this might be a good place to put the word out to anyone who might be interested. There are also some great prizes to be won! You do not have to have a history of postnatal depression, you just need to be pregnant and have access to a computer.

The web address to complete the questionnaires is on the brochure or you can click on the following link: http://tinyurl.com/transitiontomotherhood

Thanks so much for your time!
